Getting Started…Again

I am out of my mind again!

I went down to PC Show to get a notebook.

My ideal PC is large screen, with the red dot mouse joystick and touch pad, cost about $2500.

I sourced around and zoomed down to DELL, HP.  Both only have large screen without the red dot joystick.  Looking at it, more than likely, I will get the DELL for the price reason.

While making a decision, I came across Toshiba M100.  It’s $2699, slightly off the mark, but I was totally trill as the salesperson, brought the  notebook up about 2ft above the table, and suddenly, while the notebook is still on and running, he release his hand and have the notebook drop on the table.  The highly rollburst was a plus plus plus point.  Thus, I decided to spend a little and buy this unit.  On top, since it’s from Harvey Norman, it allow me up to 48 month of zero interest hire purchase if I have Diners’ card.  Though I have one, but it was expired and I did not replace the valid card in my wallet, so can only use my Master Card which allow up to 24 month installment.

After being a proud owner of  Toshiba, I went up to level 6 to source for other items…and to my dismay and shock and …. I saw a IBM T60 selling at only $2199!  On top, it’s 14.1″ screen, with a red-dot mouse joystick!  i sneak towards it and surprising, the salesperson was just doing the same demo of “dropping” the notebook!  After talking to him, I realized that both IBM and Toshiba is using the same hard disk technology!

I stood there for a while, with my mind bouncing….I finally, decided….cannot believe it myself neither, I purchased the IBM T60 as well!

So, now, I’m using my T60 to update my blog and what happened to my Toshiba…. it’s on ebay…selling at $2800 with extended 5 years warrenty and I’ll also throw in a Office 2007.  The same entry also posted in yahoo auction!
